Severus glanced at the clock once more before he began pacing. Harry’s face was still fixed on Work. Damn. He wanted his husband home and he wanted his husband home NOW!

“Brat has it so easy. He doesn’t have to be stuck inside all day. He isn’t confined to his quarters. He isn't on mandatory leave. He doesn’t have to carry the twins. Insufferable brat.” Severus scowled as he ranted. It was unfair. Harry was the younger of the two. Why didn’t he get knocked up?

“The last time I ever let him top,” Severus muttered, still bitter that he got pregnant after the first time he allowed Harry to penetrate him. “I just had to be all romantic for our bloody anniversary. I just had to let him know that I trusted him. Bloody well look where it got me. Up the pole with no husband in sight. Always at work. The bloody bastard. Never here when I need him.” He was beginning to feel cranky.

“Severus, surely you don’t really mean that.” Severus whipped around to see his husband leaning against the door, smiling. Severus was about to utter a scathing retort when he realised that there was another problem slightly more pressing.

Harry watched as a flush colored Severus’ cheeks. Man, he loved this pregnancy. He rarely got in trouble because Severus got rather randy anytime he laid eyes on Harry. It was rather nice. Before, if he angered Severus, he would spend the night, or week, on the couch. Harry decided to speed things along. He began slowly unbuttoning his robes.

Severus watched as Harry began stripping. It. Was. Not. Fair. Harry knew that he could not resist him well and now the damned brat was naked! Naked and quite erect! Damn. Severus took off his robe as well. Why delay the inevitable?

Harry made his way over to his husband and smiled. This was definitely the life. He decided that he had to get Severus pregnant as soon as possible after the birth. As soon as Harry sat down on the bed, Severus was upon him. Kissing every inch of flesh that he could find.

He pushed Harry down on his back, allowing his swollen stomach to press into Harry’s flat one as he continued to lave Harry’s neck with his tongue. Severus reached blindly for the container of lube on the bedside.

Harry looked up at Severus’ face adoringly as the man lowered himself on Harry’s throbbing cock. God, Severus was beautiful with that tint of color in his cheeks. It was difficult finding comfortable positions this far into the pregnancy, but this one worked for both of them. Harry loved being able to rub Severus’ stomach, completely enamored with his pregnant husband. Severus loved being in control and, although he wouldn’t admit it, he loved Harry being inside of him. Harry knew how to make him feel so loved, special, and beautiful, regardless of his state of being larger than a bloody house.

Severus whimpered as he came, enjoying the sensation of being filled with his husband’s seed. Harry gently guided him down on the mattress, enveloping him in his strong arms. Harry kissed the back of his neck while he rubbed Severus’ belly.

“Beautiful,” Harry whispered. And for perhaps the first time, Severus believed him.
